How much does a firearm transfer cost?
Inbound firearm transfers cost $40. Keep in mind that if you are transferring a firearm out through our shop, you will also be responsible for shipping charges to the buyer of your gun.
Do you teach concealed carry classes?
We currently do not offer concealed carry license training, but we do have training in our pipeline. Be sure to follow us on our social media outlets for updates!
Do you sell NFA items?
Yes, we are a Class III dealer and our team members are experts in NFA items such as suppressors and SBRs (Short-Barrelled Rifles).
Do you offer returns?
Depending on condition and circumstances, we do offer returns, less a 25% restocking fee. Please speak to your sales associate to learn more before purchasing.
Do you sell items online?
Yes, we work with our distributors to bring our customers a unique firearm and gear selection online that Is not always available in our retail store. We do post in-store items on our website for sale. Any online purchases can be shipped to your local FFL or our store for pickup.
Do you offer a military or first responder discount?
Yes, we do offer first responder and military discounts upon proper proof being presented.
How long does the background check approval process take?
We have upgraded our hardware to have state-of-the-art fingerprinting and form completion, which is linked to the ATF. Background checks generally are completed within 30 minutes, but this is variable due to delays at the NICS (National Instant Criminal Search) level that are beyond our control, so please plan accordingly. While you wait, talk to our specialty sales team to discuss customizing your new firearm.
Do you sell only premium firearms?
We sell all types of firearms. No matter your budget or experience, we will work with you to pair you with the perfect firearm and accessories for your needs.
Can you explain the ‘Z & Son x Ortiz’ Customs?
We combine our expertise in firearm selection with our master gunsmith’s capabilities to produce unique, 1-of-1 firearms using top-of-the-line base models with upgraded triggers, barrels, slides, optics, and more. Most of our creations then go to our friends at C&B Quality Coatings for a unique and unparalleled finish.
How can I purchase a ‘Z & Son x Ortiz’ Customs firearm?
We generally have between three and five built at a time, with a continuous and innovative pipeline. Be sure to follow our socials for when we release a new small batch of unique pieces. If you are looking to work with us to design a custom piece of your own, feel free to stop in and discuss it with our specialty sales team.
Do you consign guns?
Yes, we consign firearms and accessories all the time. If you have a piece you want to sell, stop in for an appraisal and discuss it with us and we will walk you through the process.
Do you purchase firearms from individuals?
Yes, we do. You must be a Georgia resident to sell us a firearm. Please bring in your firearm and we will review its condition and our needs.
Do you have any youth programs?
Yes, we have developed a Young Guns shooting program where we will help junior shooters find their first firearm. When they grow out of it, we will buy it back from you and help you find your next level piece.
